I bought insurance through Kayak. When I picked up the car the SixT agent said we have to put a €1500 hold on your card in case of damage. I never heard of that before. I took the car and after 5 days returned it in the same condition I received it. The SixT agent said all was good and I expected the €1500 hold to be reversed. It’s been more than 24 hours but the hold is still on. Be careful when renting from SixT.
